Niaproof Anionic Surfactants are alcohol sulfates that are ideal for hot alkaline or hot acid solutions. These chemistries work well for the strongest acids, salt solutions, alkalies, and oxidizing systems.

These specialty surfactants are used mainly in metal treating, fountain solutions, and latex emulsions. In metal treating, Niaproof Anionic Surfactants are coupled with alkali to produce a surface that is cleaner and works more rapidly than alkali alone. Also, in latex emulsions, it is the preferred emulsifier for the polymerization of acrylic ester monomers and vinyl esters of higher fatty acids.

Other applications include pharmaceuticals, household and industrial cleaners, and carpet cleaning.
