Preventol Corrosion Inhibitors provide excellent corrosive protection in specialty applications. The functional compounds in this line include tolyltriazole and benzotriazole, which prevent corrosion particularly well for copper, brass, bronze and multi-metal systems. Key products are Preventol CI 7-50, Preventol CI-7-100, and Preventol BZT. They prevent catalytic degradation and oxidation of copper ions in hydraulic fluids containing glycol and synthetic metalworking fluids.
Preventol Corrosion Inhibitors can be used as an additive in antifreeze, cooling water used in closed and open cooling water circuits, hydraulic fluids, brake fluids, mineral oils, liquid fuels, metal cleaners and polishes, electroplating, paints, disinfectants, and automatic dishwashing detergents.
