PURETHANE™ C‑CAT‑104 is formulated for use with most PURETHANE™ waterborne laminating adhesives and is typically added at 1%–3% to elevate performance. At 3% addition, it delivers the highest performance levels for the PURETHANE™ line, improving heat resistance, water resistance, and resistance to aggressive ingredients. Compared with aziridine or isocyanate cross-linkers, PURETHANE™ C‑CAT‑104 provides comparable performance with considerably fewer handling and health concerns. Ultimate properties can be achieved in about 2–3 days under typical converting conditions; most benefits are evident within 24 hours at 60°F–75°F (16°C–21°C).
