The Chemours Company Announces Viton™ Process Innovation

As a leader at the forefront of the FKM industry, Chemours Advanced Performance Materials is pioneering the development of a nonfluorinated surfactant for the production of fluoroelastomers using Advanced Polymer Architecture (APA) technology. 

The Chemours Company, a global chemistry company with leading market positions in titanium technologies, thermal and specialized solutions, and advanced performance materials, recently announced they will offer their Viton™ FWRD APA fluoroelastomers using a nonfluorinated surfactant. With this process innovation, Chemours can now manufacture its entire Viton™ fluoroelastomers portfolio using a nonfluorinated surfactant.
