CelChem CELOGEN® 760A is a self-nucleating azodicarbonamide chemical foaming agent designed for closed-cell formation for thermoplastics and elastomers. As a chemical foaming agent, CELOGEN® 760A prevents the formation of cyanuric acid deposits on dies, molds, and screws while reducing the overall weight of the polymer. CELOGEN® 760A has a very small particle size and a high decomposition temperature. This CelChem grade offers improved injection molding and extrusion processing improved benefits, such as reduced plate-out, when incorporating a foaming agent into the a formula.
Azodicarbonamide chemical foaming agents foam polymers, often forming a solid decomposition residue called cyanuric acid. Due to this chemical reaction in thermoplastic processing, CELOGEN® 760A was designed to eliminate the formation and build-up of the cyanuric acid residue.
