Outstanding chemical foaming agent with a relatively low decomposition temperature for producing cellular rubber and expanded plastic.
CELOGEN® OB is a chemical foaming agent that produces a fine, uniform, closed cell structure. It has a relatively low decomposition temperature and small particle size. CELOGEN® OB is treated with a small amount of Calcium Stearate to enhance flow ability.
CELOGEN® OB can be catalyzed by a variety of chemicals. Very strong activators include ACTICELL® U, triethanolamine, and peroxides. Calcium oxide, calcium stearate, stearic acid, cadmium and lead type vinyl stabilizers are all moderate activators. Adipic acid, benzoic acid, salicylic acid, citric acid, lead stearate and zinc stearate are examples of weak activators.
