PureTech Scientific Glycolic Acid is the smallest alpha hydroxycarboxylic acid. Glycolic Acid has dual functional groups of OH and the COOH. PureTech Scientific Glycolic High Purity 70% Solution is the purified liquid form of PureTech Scientific Glycolic Acid Technical Grade, 70% Solution. This High Purity grade has trace organic and inorganic impurities found in the tech kept to a minimum. This HP grade is normally used within the medical space as a precursor chemistry in the production of resorbable polymer sutures. This grade can also be used in a industrial applications where trace impurities must be minimized.
