Overview
ADCOTE™ 35D9 is a solventborne, heat seal coating. It is applied at 0.5-4.0 lbs per ream to paper or foil to form a low blocking coating that can be subsequently heat sealed to aluminum foil, paper, and PVC. The adhesion of ADCOTE™ 35D9 to aluminum foil is so good that it is also often used as a primer for other coatings, inks, and adhesives that need to be applied to aluminum foil. ADCOTE™ 35DP shows outstanding resistance to oils, most chemicals, and moisture and is typically used to seal packaging for agricultural chemicals, oily snack foods, and industrial lubricants.

Applications
. A primer coating weight of 0.5-1.0 lb/ream will protect the foil from corrosion and improve the adhesion on vinyl and EVA-based heat seal coatings.
A dry coating weight of 1.5-4.0 lb/ream is recommended for these applications.
