ADCOTE™ 37R972 is a water-based heat seal coating based on ethylene vinyl acetate. It has a very low activation temperature and ideally suited for shrink film applications. ADCOTE™ 37R972 can be applied to PET, foil and paper at a coating weight of 1.5-3.0 lbs per ream to form a heat sealable coating with excellent clarity. The coating can be sealed to many common flexible packaging materials including polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester, aluminum foil, paper and PVDC. The clarity of ADCOTE™ 37R972 combined with the low activation and drying web temperature makes this heat seal coating the perfect choice for shrink labels that have little or no ink coverage.
