SILCULAR™ EMS-4000 Emulsion is a 60% actives silicone emulsion intended to be diluted before application and is available in viscosities between 250–2,500 cP.
SILCULAR™ EMS-4000 is a 350 cSt polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) silicone oil as its base fluid. In emulsion form, the viscosity of SILCULAR™ EMS-4000 is influenced by its 60% active content and water-based, nonionic formulation. While the exact emulsion viscosity may vary depending on dilution and processing conditions, the base fluid ensures smooth application, effective gloss, water repellency, reliable lubrication, and release performance. This viscosity profile makes SILCULAR™ EMS-4000 suitable for use in applications where consistent flow and film formation are critical.
