Origin


AquaCat™ cationic guar polymers are derived from guar plants, an abundant and renewable natural resource. Guar is a leguminous plant that thrives in hot dry climates and grows to a height of 3-6 feet. The plant sprouts bean like pods containing small round seeds from which the guar gum is extracted. This gum is the raw material for cationic guar production.

AquaCat™ in body washes provides sensory that outperforms control formulas containing no cationic polymer


A consumer panel was organized to research preferences between body washes formulated with and without AquaCat™ CG518, and to compare characteristics between the formulations.
 

Two separate base body wash formulas were used. Formula 1 is a proprietary formula containing SLES and CAPB.  Formula 2 is similar in nature but includes cocamide MEA.
