Based on acrylate chemistry, the all-new polymer serves to restore hair typically damaged by certain cleansing regimens, treatments and heat styling back to the look of virgin hair.
A durable conditioning polymer that provides enduring shine and manageability
Providing a conduit for in situ controlled flocculation (ISCF™), N-DurHance A-1000 conditioning polymer returns damaged hair strands with hydrophilic properties back to a state of hydrophobicity. Excess positive charges emanating from the polymer will control in situ post flocculation on hair from the arrival of surfactants and conditioning agents, lending hydrophobicity to hair in a way that is both efficient and comprehensive.
N-DurHance A-1000 conditioning polymer properties
N-DurHance A-1000 conditioning polymer is a preservative-free aqueous solution of a highly charged cationic homopolymer of (3-Acrylamidopropyl) trimethylammonium chloride. It has been developed especially for use as a substantive and durable conditioning polymer for hair. It is supplied as an easily processable, ready to use 20% aqueous solution that requires no heating or pH adjustments. It is compatible with a wide range of cationic and nonionic surfactants and some anionic surfactants.

Healthy virgin hair has a hydrophobic surface and is most often described as smooth, shiny and silky. Restoring hydrophilic damaged hair from dull-looking back to same hydrophobicity as virgin hair will significantly help to renew the hair look and feel.
In tests with various silicone-free (non-conditioning) shampoo, conditioner formulations containing 1% N-DurHance A-1000 conditioning polymer, improved the hydrophobicity of bleached hair to levels virtually the same as virgin hair.
