Klucel™ EF Hydroxypropylcellulose is a nonionic polymer that is completely soluble in both water and polar organic solvents like ethanol. This grade has a viscosity of 200-600.
Klucel™ EF offers improved curl retention when combined with Amphomer resin in a nonaerosol hairspray formulation. This high-hold formulation retains its soft, non-tacky feel thanks to the flexible film that Klucel forms.
