Gafquat™ 440 is a film former supplied as a flowable 30% alcoholic solution with an average molecular weight of 100,000. It has low tack and provides a smooth, silky feel to hair.

Gafquat™ cationic conditioning copolymers provide enhanced substantivity. They were developed to provide a smoother, more conditioned feel to styled hair and to help protect against thermal and mechanical damage caused by blow drying and brushing.
