Krytox™ GPL221 is a high performance grease utilizing PFPE oil, PTFE thickener, and sodium nitrite as an anti-corrosion additive. Commonly used in the automotive and industrial market, applications for these greases include, but are not limited to, bearings, valves, gears, seals, and pumps.
Krytox™ GPL221 has a base oil viscosity of 7.8 cSt @40°C. This grease is suitable to use in applications up to 104°C.
Krytox™ GPL221 greases are white buttery greases with all of the same properties as the Krytox™ GPL101 oils that they are made from, but they are in grease form.
GPL221 grade has lower molecular weight of the base PFPE oil, to improve functionality at lower temperatures for specific applications.

Features & Benefits
Krytox™ GPL221 Grease is an anti-corrosion grease containing sodium nitrite. It provides rust protection at ambient temperatures, corrosion protection at high temperatures, and anti-wear protection.
Krytox™ greases are nontoxic lubricants that maintain their lubricity and viscosity properties to reduce maintenance costs associated with re-lubrication, component failure, and downtime in demanding applications. They are created by thickening synthetic perfluoropolyether-based oil (PFPE) with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) powder.
