Krytox™ GPL222 is a high performance grease utilizing PFPE oil, PTFE thickener, and sodium nitrite as an anti-corrosion additive. Commonly used in the automotive and industrial market, applications for these greases include, but are not limited to, bearings, valves, gears, seals, and pumps.
Krytox™ GPL222 has a base oil viscosity of 15 cSt @40°C. This grease is suitable to use in applications up to 132°C.
Krytox™ GPL222 greases are white buttery greases with all of the same properties as the Krytox™ GPL102 oils that they are made from, but they are in grease form.
GPL222 grade has lower molecular weight of the base PFPE oil, to improve functionality at lower temperatures for specific applications.

Krytox™ GPL222 Grease is an anti-corrosion grease containing sodium nitrite. It provides rust protection at ambient temperatures and corrosion protection at high temperatures.
Krytox™ greases are nontoxic lubricants that maintain their lubricity and viscosity properties to reduce maintenance costs associated with re-lubrication, component failure, and downtime in demanding applications. They are created by thickening synthetic perfluoropolyether-based oil (PFPE) with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) powder.
