ADCOTE™ 577A is the polyester urethane component of a two-component laminating adhesive system. It is typically used for foil to film lamination.
Adcote™ 577A is a medium performance polyester urethane adhesive. It requires the use of Coreactant Adcote™ 577B to achieve full properties. ADCOTE 577A is higher molecular weight than ADCOTE™ 577 and provides better green sheer strength. Adcote™ 577A/577B can be used in all typical laminations for laminating aluminum foil and a variety of polyester, polyolefin and coextruded films typically used in food, medical and industrial packaging applications. Adcote™ 577A/577B can be used in retortable structures to laminate polyester to foil or nylon to foil.
