Medium Molecular Weight (430) Synthetic Sodium Sulfonate for use in Industrial Lubricant Formulating
Aristonate M is a 1st intent low molecular weight synthetic sulfonate designed for use in formulating a variety of industrial lubricants. Aristonate M is especially well suited for use in applications requiring a medium viscosity sulfonate to provide maximum corrosion protection, low foam performance & emulsification.
Emulsification and Dispersion
Aristonate M provides excellent emulsification, dispersion, and corrosion inhibition performance in cutting oils, surface coatings, textile oils, pigment wetting & water based lubricant applications. The product also imparts excellent emulsification characteristics for oil-in-water, water-in-oil and solids-in-oil formulations.
Aristonate M is the emulsifier of choice for high water based lubricants & simple soluble oils. Coolants formulated with Aristonate M provide maximum corrosion protection to metal parts through various machining and grinding operations while providing critical cooling and lubricating performance.
High Water Based Fluids
Aristonate M has an optimum balance between hydrophilic and lipophilic properties for formulating low oil, high water based coolants for machining and grinding coolants and parts cleaners.

Aristonic® sulfonates are high-purity, oil-soluble sulfonates. They are used as emulsifiers in soluble oils and semi-synthetic metal removal fluids. Products are sold as 60% active in diluent oil. Pilot's Aristonate sulfonates are manufactured specifically as additives for metalworking fluids by sulfonating and neutralizing selected Aristol alkyl aromatics.
