Hystrene® 5016 NF FG Veg, Flake is the vegetable form of this high-purity mixture of saturated fatty acids. It is comprised of 50% palmitic acid, and the NF designation indicates that the test method conforms to standard practices as defined by the National Formulary at the time of production. The FG stands for food grade, which meets all Food Chemical Codex (FCC) requirements. It is vegetable derived for vegetarian applications.
