Overview
ETHOCEL™ Standard 7 Premium is a water-insoluble ethyl cellulose polymer that is compliant with pharmacopoeia regulations. It is soluble in organic solvents including ketones; aromatics; alcohols, and esters. When added to coating and ink formulations ETHOCEL™ Standard 7 Premium provides a pseudoplastic rheology and improves flexibility, durability, and moisture resistance. ETHOCEL™ Standard 7 Premium is a thermoplastic polymer and can be used to make heat seal coatings and hot melt adhesives.
