MIDLAND, Michigan, March 19, 2003 -- Effective January 1, 2003, The Dow Chemical Company selected ChemPoint.com as its authorized distributor of UCON TM Fluids and Lubricants for North America.
ChemPoint.com is a unique distribution company geared towards serving specialty,niche markets and will provide Dow customers the ability to place orders via phone, fax, email or on-line, offering them a more personalized, efficient way to conduct business with Dow. “We are confident that our affiliation with ChemPoint.com will provide a more focused approach for our customers, enabling us to more efficiently grow our collective businesses,” said Julie McAlindon, Global Marketing Manager for UCON fluids.
By using ChemPoint.com as its authorized distributor, Dow is able to offer customers a number of improvements that will make it easier to do business, including more effective order processing systems and on-line ordering tools. Customers will also receive the sales and technical support they need to select and use UCON fluids in their applications and processes more efficiently.
