Steve Block Named President of ChemPoint.com & Vice President of Univar Inc.

BELLEVUE, Washington – September 7, 2010 – Univar,  a leading global chemical distributor, announced today the appointment of Steve Block as president of ChemPoint.com, a leading e-distributor of specialty and fine chemicals in Europe and North America. Block also will serve as Vice President of Univar Inc. 
 
Block has played a significant leadership role in ChemPoint.com, serving as a member of the founding team 11 years ago and as vice president of marketing and sales for the past five years. Additionally, Block has held marketing and sales positions at Univar for over 27 years.
