Overview
AKPEROX® TBHP 70 is a versatile organic peroxide that consists of a 70% tert-butyl hydroperoxide solution. It performs well as an initiator in oxygen when combined with ethylene and is also typically used in high-pressure emulsion polymerization for resins such as styrene, acrylate, vinyl acetate, and methacrylate. AKPEROX® TBHP 70 is also suitable for use as an oxidizing agent for hydrocarbons in various applications across industries. It should be used at a recommended use level of 0.1 to 0.3% and has a shelf life of 6 months. This peroxide catalyst complies with REACH regulations EC No 1907/2006 and EC No 1272/2008 and Commission Regulation EU No 2015/830.
