Ti-Pure™ R-103 Titanium Dioxide has been created to reduce discoloration of resin compounds and finished plastic products during processing and exposure to ultra violet light. Ti-Pure™ R-103 is of great usage in polyolefin or engineering resins applications, PVC systems, plastisols and liquid colorants.
Ti-Pure™ R-103 Titanium Dioxide offers an exceptional blueness that is relevant in natural colored resins systems like ABS since it requires 30% less TiO2 in comparison to neutral undertone pigments. At the same time, thje alumina surface treatment of Ti-Pure™ R-103 Titanium Dioxide offers a great discoloration resistance.
Ti-Pure™ R-103 titanium dioxide is excellent in polyolefin or engineering resin applications requiring high opacity strength, very blue tint, excellent dispersion, and discoloration resistance. Ti-Pure™ R-103’s surface treatment allows its use in lead-stabilized PVC systems, while still providing controlled chalking in exterior PVC applications.
