Ti-Pure™ R-706 Titanium Dioxide
Ti-Pure™ R-706 titanium dioxide is a chloride-processed rutile TiO2 pigment created to offer dispersibility, durability and high gloss attributes to coatings.
Ti-Pure™ R-706 titanium dioxide is a versatile titanium dioxide pigment in solvent and waterborne system with blue undertone, good hiding, easy wet-in, durability, high gloss and excellent dispersibility for industrial, automotive, and architectural applications.
Ti-Pure™ R-706 titanium dioxide has a tight particle size distribution, which results in less oversized particles that detract from gloss resulting in exceptional gloss performance. At the same time, the unique encapsulation of R-706 TiO2 particle by a continuous coating of silica, offer gloss retenetion and chalk resistance. Also, the alumina surface treatment reduce the contact between the titanium dioxide particles, resulting in excellent dispersion in solventborn systems.
Low oil absorption from Ti-Pure™ Titanium dioxide R-706, is achieved due to novel precipitation of silica and alumina surface treatments which results in it's excellent wet-in.
Lastly, Ti-Pure™ R-706 low surface treatment level, 3% amorphous silica and 2.5% alumina, results in high TiO2 content, contributing togood hiding.
