Ti-Pure™ TS-6300 titanium dioxide is a chloride-processed rutile TiO2 pigment that offers superior performance on paints that have more than 10 wt % of TiO2 and are formulated above the Critical Pigment Volume Concentration. In order to reach that performance, the titanium dioxide particle size is optimized, and the surface oxide treatment provides physical spacing in crowded systems.
Superior performance is offered by titanium dioxide TS-6300 in flat (matte) architectural paints with high content of extenders and TiO2, formulated at or near the Concentration of Critical Pigment Volume (CPVC).
In crowded systems, the TiO2 particle size is optimized and the surface oxide treatment creates physical spacing to increase TiO2 efficiency while preserving the highest degree of film integrity.
For many exterior architectural coatings, Ti-Pure™ TS-6300's weatherability performance is sufficient; however, as this can vary depending on the formula, paint testing is strongly advised.
