TEXTURECEL™ 30 GA is a low molecular weight sodium carboxymethyl cellulose polymer. It is used as a film former in paper coatings and textile size.
TEXTURECEL™ 30 GA is a high purity sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC). It offers the lowest molecular weight of all TEXTURECEL™ grades. TEXTURECEL™ 30 GA can be added directly to water under moderate agitation. It will produce a solution with a viscosity of 30 cP when added to water at 2%. The low molecular weight of TEXTURECEL™ 30 GA allows for it to be loaded at high solids into coating formulation. It produces clear, durable films that are highly resistant to grease and oils. This makes TEXTURECEL™ 30 GA well suited to be used as film former in paper coatings and textile warp sizing applications.
