TEXTURECEL™ 30000 GA is a high molecular weight sodium carboxymethyl cellulose. It is used as a thickener and gelling agent in adhesives and gel packs.
TEXTURECEL™ 30000 GA is a sodium carboxymethyl cellulose that can be directly added to water under moderate agitation to form solutions with high viscosity. It has a high molecular weight and produces a solution with a viscosity of 30,000 cP when added to water at 2%. TEXTURECEL™ 30000 GA is an ideal gelling agent for leak resistant gel packs. It forms a firm gel that resists leaking when the pack is broken. TEXTURECEL™ 3000 GA is also used to thicken water-based adhesive formulations. It provides improved wet adhesion, sag resistance, and a workable viscosity that thins under shear.
