Protaweld® KLH120 is a potassium alginate blend between K/Li-Alginate used for industrial-welding rod to provide good bonding strength. It acts as a plasticizer, which enables a smooth and homogeneous extrusion process on low-hydrogen electrodes.
Odor: almost odorless
Colour: White to yellowish-brown
pH: 6.0 - 8.0 ((1% solution)
Water solubility: Slowly soluble, forming a viscous, colloidal solution.
Suggested use level: 0.5%-1.0%
