METHOCEL™ A4M is a medium molecular weight methylcellulose thickener with approvals for use in pharmaceutical applications. It yields a viscosity of ~4000 cP at 2% in water.
METHOCEL™ A4M Premium is a water-soluble methylcellulose. Solutions containing METHOCEL™ A4M are thixotropic and show outstanding stability in extreme pH making it an ideal thickener for acidic and alkaline based cleaning products. METHOCEL™ A4M will reversibly gel at temperatures above 55°C and improve lubricity and green strength of ceramics, coatings, and adhesives.
