FB-190
The SI Group FB-190 phenolic resin is supplied in solid state for use in protective coating formulations for metal applications.
The SI Group FB-190 is a phenolic resin that offers excellent resistance against corrosion and moisture in protective coating formulations for metals. FB-190 phenolic resin provides flexibility, high reactivity, and chemical resistance. The SI Group phenol grade FB-190 was designed to be used in combination with coating applications utilizing epoxy, polyester, alkyd, and acrylic resins. And it may also be used in vinyl organosol coatings as a primer that treats metal surfaces for anti-corrosion properties
Coating applications using this phenol-formaldehyde solid resin can benefit from exceptional chemical and corrosion resistance, compatibility with other materials, thermal stability, and physical properties.
