The SI Group SFC-112/72 is used in internal protective coatings for metal substrates, where high flexibility and light color performances are needed. This phenolic resin can be used in crosslinking combination with epoxy resins as it offers superior color stability and reactivity after curing. SFC-112/72 provides excellent flexibility and sterilization resistance even without a catalyst.
SFC-112/72 is a thermohardening and non-etherified phenolic grade that can be used in interior and exterior can coatings and light-colored varnishes. This phenolic polymer resin offers excellent sterilization and heat resistance for 2-piece and 3-piece cans for food and beverage applications. SFC-112/72 is a liquid resin of phenol and formaldehyde polymers that provides superior flexibility for coatings that can bear mechanical deformations from high-temperature exposure.
