SP-103
SP-103 is a phenolic resin used for the manufacture of polychloroprene cement and adhesives because of its light color and ability to extend open time.
SP-103 is an alkylphenol–formaldehyde resin explicitly developed for general-purpose and heat-activating polychloroprene cement. It extends the tack life of polychloroprene contact cement. SP-103 increases films’ adhesion and cohesive strength to metal and glass. It is also used in rubber-based adhesives, including NBR, SBR, natural, and reclaimed rubbers.
