SP-134
SP-134 is a modified alkylphenol-formaldehyde resin that is excellent for use in polychloroprene cement and rubber adhesives.
SP-134 is made by the reaction of formaldehyde with a phenol derivative listed in 21 CFR 175.300(b)(3)(vi)(a).
SP-134 is widely used in manufacturing general-purpose and heat-activating polychloroprene cement. It is also used in rubber adhesive formulations, including NBR, SBR, natural, and reclaimed rubbers.
