Fomrez® polyester polyols are low molecular weight polyols prepared by polyesterification with excess diol. This allows hydroxyl groups to terminate the polymer molecules. Fomrez® polyester polyols are used in the formation of polyurethanes, particularly for high-strength polyurethane elastomers. They are also used for flexible polyurethane foams, semi-rigid foams, and polyurethane coatings.
