These synthetic greases are offered in very specialized grades for various applications. Krytox™ greases are perfluoropolyether (PFPE) oil based and thickened with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) based systems that provide nonflammability and are chemically inert and nonreactive for use in a range of applications. Due to the nature of the chemistry, these Krytox™ greases exhibit incredibly long lubrication life cycles. Krytox™ TS4 allows for low breakaway torque for easy-to-break connections, preventing galling, seizure and thread damage. It is easy to apply via a specially designed applicator, reducing work time, injuries to fingers and damage to process equipment due to loose pieces of tape.
