These synthetic greases are offered in very specialized grades for various applications. Krytox™ greases are perfluoropolyether (PFPE) oil based and thickened with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) based systems that provide nonflammability and are chemically inert and nonreactive for use in a range of applications. Due to the nature of the chemistry, these Krytox™ greases exhibit incredibly long lubrication life cycles. They can even provide a sealed-for-life performance unrivaled by conventional industrial lubricants, greases, or oils.
