Replace PTFE Tape with Krytox™ TS4

Krytox™ TS4 PFPE sealant is a paste developed with superior sealing characteristics compared to a standard thread seal tape. Krytox™ TS4 PFPE sealant can be used with a wide variety of process fluids including water, air, steam, hydrocarbons, acids, bases, chlorines, and most reactive gases and liquids.  The TS4 thread sealant is also safe for oxygen use and critical piping application.
 
Krytox™ TS4 allows low breakaway torque for easy-to-break thread connections, preventing galling, seizure and thread damage. Krytox™ TS4 is easy to apply via a specially designed applicator, reducing work time, finger injuries, and process equipment damage due to loose pieces of PTFE tape. Krytox™ TS4 is also approved for re-application without needing to clean up the old sealant.
