DOWICIL™ QK-20 is based on 20% DBNPA (2,2-dibromo-3-nitrilopropionamide) that is featured with its quick and broad efficacy and short half-life. The short half-life is essential in clean-up and decontamination applications to ensure complete degradation of the active ingredient after the disinfection is complete without causing any concerns for disposal.

DOWICIL™ QK-20 is also a non-oxidizing biocide which eliminates any corrosion potential or unwanted reactions with the process chemicals, such as typically observed polymer degradations when contacted with chlorine (bleach) or other oxidizing biocides.
