HiTEC® 65533 performance additive is designed for aftermarket use to treat gasoline and prevent deposit formation in direct injection and port fuel injection engines. It is formulated with patented detergent technology to keep intake valves and injectors clean, optimize fuel economy, and restore engines to like-new condition. Its superior gasoline friction modifier reduces friction and wear to lubricate upper cylinders and improve engine life and performance. HiTEC® 65533 additive has fully scalable treat rates with EPA and TOP TIER™ certification at cost-effective treat rates. It also demonstrates good water tolerance and corrosion inhibition and is suitable for use in a wide range of ethanol blends.

As engines run, deposits form on intake valves and fuel injectors and within the combustion chamber. Deposit buildup interferes with combustion, resulting in power loss and decreased fuel economy. In particular, intake valve deposits in direct injection engines cannot be easily cleaned with treated fuel and conventional detergents since fuel is injected directly into the cylinder and does not contact the back of the intake valves. A high additive treat rate may be needed to clean up deposits in direct injection engines, which can be costly.
