Overview
HiTEC® 33300 gear oil additive is designed to be formulated into automotive axle oils for commercial vehicle, light-duty, and heavy-duty applications. It meets various OEM requirements for long fluid life, material compatibility, and oxidation and thermal stability. The patented anti-wear system in the additive package improves part protection to prevent costly damage and maintenance. Additionally, its superior extreme-pressure technology demonstrates exceptional performance under heavy loads and high temperatures.
Axle fluids properly formulated with HiTEC® 33300 additive can meet the following specifications:
API GL-5 and MT-1
SAE J2360 (MIL-PRF-2015E)
Mack G0-J
Meritor 0-94

Problems Solved
Under extreme pressures and temperatures, axle oil is more susceptible to degradation, oxidation, or insufficient lubrication without proper additives. This can cause short fluid life, frequent oil changes, or gear wear and damage. Oil incompatibilities with seals or metal alloys can also lead to oil leaks or corrosion.
