Overview
HiTEC® 561 ashless slideway oil additive exhibits excellent frictional performance to improve the smoothness and precision of machine tool operations. The additive package is designed with anti-wear and extreme-pressure properties to prevent equipment wear and damage. It remains stable at high temperatures and shows good filtration performance. HiTEC® 561 additive also demonstrates compatibility with a broad range of cutting fluids in SKC compatibility testing.

Problems Solved
Slideway oils formulated without proper friction modifiers can impact machine tool accuracy and cause stick-slip motion. Insufficient anti-wear and extreme-pressure properties can cause wear, damage, or shortened equipment life. Formulators should also consider chemical compatibility, as slideways oils that are incompatible with cutting fluid can result in contamination and affect machine performance.
