Overview
HiTEC® 5785H additive is a highly shear-stable viscosity index improver (VII) with added pour point depressant (PPD) performance. Its high shear stability is advantageous for formulating top-tier multigrade hydraulic oils. It delivers superior viscosity control at low treat rates while maintaining hydrolytic stability and good filtration. When properly formulated in Group I and II base oils, hydraulic fluids containing HiTEC® 5785H viscosity modifier are included on the Denison Parker HF-0 approved list and can meet industry and OEM requirements for Eaton, MAG, DIN 51524 (ii), US AIST, Bosch Rexroth, SAE, ISO, and JCM AS.

Problems Solved
Under high temperatures and mechanical forces, hydraulic oil is prone to shear thinning, impacting its longevity and performance. Common polymers used to improve viscosity may interrupt the stability of the hydraulic oil formulation or demonstrate poor filtration characteristics.
