Problems Solved
In industrial oils, particularly at elevated temperatures, insoluble particulates can agglomerate, forming deposits and scale that dirty systems, shorten fluid life, impact performance, or damage equipment. Dispersant additives are often added to formulations to keep particles in suspension, but some types have poor filterability and will separate from the oil as it is pumped through filters.
