HiTEC® 7197G additive is a primary zinc dialkyldithiophosphate (ZDDP) that provides excellent anti-wear performance in grease.
HiTEC® 7197G additive is a mixed-alcohol, primary zinc dialkyldithiophosphate (ZDDP) chemistry that imparts anti-wear properties in grease for heavy-load applications. It demonstrates compatibility with common soap-based thickener systems, including lithium and lithium complex soaps. HiTEC® 7197G anti-wear agent can also be used to meet strict NLGI performance requirements, including the new High-Performance Multiuse Grease (HPM) specification.
Appearance: Clear, yellow-green to brown, oily liquid
Density, lb/gal: 9.33
Specific gravity at 15.6/15.6°C: 1.12
Viscosity, cSt at 100°C: 11.0
Flash point (PMCC), °C: 110 min
Without effective anti-wear additives, grease cannot adequately protect surfaces at high loads and temperatures, causing metal-on-metal contact. Over time, this can lead to wear, damage, or equipment failure.
