Overview
AKPEROX® C90 is a high-performance initiator and catalyst with a cumyl hydroperoxide base. Containing 90% peroxide content, this colorless to light-yellow liquid catalyst is the optimal choice for hand lay-up or spray-up applications. It can be used in the bulk polymerization or copolymerization of bulk polymers such as butadiene, acrylonitrile, styrene, vinyl acetate, acrylate, and methacrylate in room-temperature conditions or lower. AKPEROX® C90 can be activated by organosoluble or water-soluble reducing agents, as well as metal compounds, to accelerate polymerization at these temperatures.
AKPEROX® C90 is compliant with REACH regulations EC No 1907/2006 and EC No 1272/2008 and Commission Regulation EU No 2015/830.
