Overview
DMAA 80 LC is a low-color grade of 80% purity N,N-dimethylacetoacetamide diluted in water. DMAA 80 LC is widely used as a copromoter to improve the cure time of unsaturated polyester resins for industrial coatings and adhesives. It is particularly effective when used in resin formulations with glycol intermediates, such as PG, NPG, or TMPD. DMAA 80 LC has a lower color specification for color-sensitive applications, including gel coats. It can also be used as a chemical intermediate for the production of agrochemicals.
