Larostat^® quaternary ammonium antistats provide a longer effective antistatic life through their ability over time to migrate to the surface of the material even in relatively low humidity conditions. Some grades can withstand temperatures of over 500°F compared to most antistats which degrade at temperatures of 200-300°F. Common applications include electronics packaging, plastics, foams, adhesives, coatings, inks, PVC, solvents, paper, fiber treatments in textile production, fabric softeners, hairspray, fiberglass insulation, and aircraft fuel.
