Overview
Bostik® 940A FS is an innovative hybrid polymer adhesive sealant valued for its excellent flexibility and resilience, combining the strength of urethane with the elasticity of silicone. Bostik® 940A FS has a solvent- and isocyanate-free formulation that delivers outstanding flexibility, offering 300% elongation at break. Bostik® 940A FS can be applied to a variety of surface substrates and cured upon reaction with moisture to form a robust seal that is sandable and paintable.
The seal exhibited by Bostik® 940A FS has excellent resistance to UV and water exposure for applications both above and below the water line without seal failure or yellowing. Bostik® 940A FS is compatible with a range of materials, including fiberglass, PVC, steel, aluminum, and EPDM rubber, without the need for primer.
