DryFilm 2000/IPA Dispersion is a highly stable dry lubricant based on PTFE that is used in blade coating and grease thickening applications
DryFilm 2000/IPA is a dispersion of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) at 20% solids in IPA. PTFE has an incredibly low coefficient of friction and is therefore offers excellent lubrication properties. DryFilm 2000/IPA can be dip coated, brushed, or sprayed onto prepared surfaces and then air dried or melt coated for improved adhesion. Parts coated with DryFilm 2000/IPA exhibit incredible non-stick properties and can perform smooth repeated motions for extended periods of time before re-applications is necessary. DryFilm 2000/IPA is often used ion blade coating applications and allows for blades to pass through or over surfaces with little to no friction. The PTFE in DryFilm is remarkably stable at high temperatures and is resistant to attack by acids and bases. This makes DryFilm 2000/IPA the ideal lubricant for harsh industrial environments.
